Come back with FiSh!
Hello everybody, I am back ! There was a lot of time of my absence, but my thought about this blog is still alive! I want to show you some kind of my recent project.
Picture on the left shows you pretty cool smooth fish with nice teeth :) yeah that's right, it's still without eyes but it is a matter of time. The question is: how I merge these shoulders ? iT's really simple, Merge to Edge Tool and that's all. Clean faces opposite and try to merge edges with this tool. Cool effect. Teeth are of course the cones with a little experiment on Curvature in your Attribute window:) Than delete your history and now you can use round tool and receive demand effect.

Attach surfaces looks pretty cool
Hello, i am working in Maya right now and creating some pretty stuff. The picture on the left shows smooth, elegance crossing from one surface to other. It looks really cool when everything is fluent. If we want to do this thing we shouldn't forget about pulling the isoparms to the end of surfaces and attaching them. Then we acquire desirable result of our work.

Bézier curve
It's really important thing if we want to work with Maya. I mean Bézier curve. It is really NECESSARY curve for modeling car or ship. Everything started in Renault factory, when Pierre Bézier described some kind of curves which called Bézier curves. The curves were needful for design surfaces of the cars. Now we can easily create amazing, smooth cars in Maya. Nonuniform rational B-spline based on Bézier curves.

The first question: Have my work something common with CAD?
The answer is NO! Computer Aided Design which means CAD is only for engineers. It is not my craft. My THOUGHT direct to 3D modeling, animation, rendering and similar stuff. It's only available in animation software like Maya (Autodesk) or 3Ds Max (Autodesk) or Blender or Lightwave or XSI. What is the history of my fury ? The next post maybe will show
